Get eComm Purchases While You Sleep Using Email Automations

The four must-have email sequences to set up now for your eComm store.

If you are running paid traffic, or any kind of traffic to your online store, but you don’t yet have automations set up to turn those customers into loyal, repeat buyers - you are definitely leaving money on the table!

Why? Because people are fickle, they forget about you, or worse - they don’t form a bond with your brand after buying the first time. Here is a run-down of our recommended email automations to turn those casual visitors into a tribe of raving fans of your brand that buy on repeat.

Klaviyo is our absolute favourite CRM for eComm - as it syncs so beautifully with Shopify and Woo Commerce. It will automatically add popular flows to your account when you get set up.

They also have a Flow Library full of pre-built flows spanning the customer lifecycle to make it super easy. Once you customise these flows, you can start sending them right away. Here are what we recommend as a starting point.

  1. A welcome series flow to introduce subscribers to your brand and convert them into first-time customers. Great examples here.

  2. An abandoned cart flow to convert would-be customers that is customisable based on items in someone's cart and whether they're already a customer. Great examples here.

  3. A post-purchase flow to show appreciation for customers and let them know about related products they might be interested in. This is your chance to make them part of your tribe. Good detail here

  4. A win-back flow for customers who purchase but then don't come back to buy again, customisable based on the products they've purchased and how many purchases they've made. Good detail here

If you have those four flows set up you are in good shape to start paying for traffic - as you will be able to hugely increase the lifetime value of your customer.

The best thing about this strategy - is once you set it up, it works on automatic. No need to think of a new topic for your weekly newsletter - this content is evergreen!
