As marketers, we're always looking for ways to create ads that truly speak to our target audience. The best insights come straight from the horse's mouth: customer reviews. AI can help you quickly access a treasure trove of valuable insights into what makes your customers tick.

1. Mining Review Data for Customer Pain Points

A tool like Chat GPT can be used uncover common pain points and challenges that your target audience faces. Feed the tool with as much customer data as you have from reviews or interviews. 

Prompt AI to identify these issues, and come up with ads angles that position your product or service as the solution they've been looking for.

2. Identifying the Trigger and Desire Behind Their Purchase 

Ask Chat GPT to identify the main trigger points that lead people to buy your product and any underlying ‘mass desires’ that they are talking about as their reason for purchase 

3. Identifying Key Product Benefits from Reviews

On the flip side, reviews can also reveal the most beloved features and benefits of your product, your competitor’s product or your . By highlighting these key selling points in your ads, you can create messages that truly resonate with your audience. 

4. Coming Up With Copy Insights 

Ask ChatGPT to summarise the language and phrases that your customers use to describe their experiences with your product. This helps create ad messages that feel authentic and relatable.

This information can then be used to brief a copywriting team or as a prompt when you come to writing copy. 

5. Organise your social proof and reviews

You already know that incorporating real customer quotes and testimonials into ad copy can be incredibly effective. 

The step up here is to plug your reviews into Chat GPT and ask it to organise the quotes by theme. That way you always have a customer quote that reinforces the angle of your ad.
