Ten eComm marketing tweaks that could double your product revenue 🤑
With ad costs higher than ever, one of the best ways to improve the return on your ad spend is to be super-slick with your optimisation.
Fortunately there are some straightforward rules to follow that will instantly make a difference.
These have been tried and tested by the Webtopia team so make the most of our expertise!
1: Sticky CTA button on desktop and mobile
Your CTA is your ‘call to action’ button - and by sticky we mean - making sure that it is always visible on the product page no matter where people scroll.
2: Multiple high-quality product images
Images are everything. Include close-ups of fabric and texture, lifestyle shots of people using or wearing the product, as well as shots to show how it works. Don’t hold back!
3: An image zoom feature
This is essential so people can zoom in on what is important to them.
4: A product sales video or GIF
Having some sort of video of the product will help convince people who are not sure how it works or need more information to make a decision.
This could be the founder talking about the product, or a video unboxing with voiceover. It could also be a simple GIF of product shots with overlaid text.
5: Well-written product description with social proof
Include quotes from customers in your description to add weight to your claims.
Speak to the product benefits as well as the features. Make sure you have detailed information about the product attributes and manufacture.
6: Display guarantees
It’s important to state clearly and directly what your guarantee is - include trust badges that add weight to your promise.
7: Reviews - written and video
A site without reviews could be a scam - according to the consumer. Ideally, you need a review plug-in that collects and validates the reviews (rather than pasting them onto your site). Try Yotpo or Reviews.io or Trustpilot.
Having video reviews of your product from real people (sometimes called UGC videos) will also give your conversion rate a kick.
8: Social proof images or USPs in image format
Make your product image gallery work harder by adding social proof images to your gallery - screenshots of reviews from other websites or quotes from customers.
You can also create images that explain or call out your product USPs by overlaying text or graphics over images.
9: Product FAQ and live chat
Having a detailed product FAQ can help reduce customer service queries and can increase your conversion by giving people all the information they need and reducing objections.
Add a Live Chat to cover those questions that people still need answers to and you have covered all bases.
10: Exit Intent pop up
The final icing on the conversion cake is an exit intent pop up - Optimonk is a good Shopify App that does this.
When a user makes a move to leave the site, a popup or popover arrives to give them a discount or offer.
So there you have it - 10 easy tweaks you can make to your website or product pages to increase sales!
